Mullayanagiri Peak

The peak gets its name from a small temple (gadduge/tomb) at the summit, which is dedicated to a sage "Mulappa swamy" who is believed to have meditated at the caves only a couple of feet below the summit. The caves are accessible and not very deep, they have a direct entrance to the garbagudi of the temple, which is now blocked by the temple priests

Baba Budan giri

Bababudangiri is an amazing trek in the mountains of Chikmagalur, located at a distance of 250 km from Bangalore, making it ideal for a weekend getaway. Starting on the hiking trail from Sarpadhari (alternatively from Attinagundi), you can see the peaks of Budangiri (1895 m) and Mullayanagiri (1930 m) looming at a distance. Together, the two mountains appear like a crescent moon, therefore known as the Chandra Drona Range.

Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary

Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is the protected area and the tiger reserve as part of the Project Tiger, situated in Chikkamagaluru district, 23 km south of Bhadravathi city, 38 km 20 km from Tarikere town, northwest of Chikkamagaluru and 283 km from Bengaluru city in Karnataka state, India. Bhadra sanctuary has a wide range of flora and fauna and is a popular place for day outings. The 1,875 m above MSL Hebbe Giri is the highest peak in the sanctuary.

Kallathigiri Falls

The Kallathigiri Falls, also known as the Kalhatti Falls, is a magnificent natural abode located 50 kilometres away from Chikmakagalur. The fall gushes down the majestic Chandra Dona Mountains from a height of about 400 feet.Water drops from an overhanging ledge, allowing people to take showers beneath it. The falls contain the headwaters of the river Sharavathi. Apart from being a natural goldmine, the Kalhatti Falls also has a poignant religious significance. It houses the renowned Veerabhadra Temple, or Veerabhadreshwara Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
